Cosmin Stamate is Ph.D. student at Birkbeck, University of London in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems and the Department of Psychological Sciences. His current research orbits around machine learning and behavioural genetics with a particular interest in transfer of learning (in deep neural networks), evolutionary algorithms and population studies.
He is a member of the Birkbeck Knowledge Lab, Birkbeck Institute for Data Analytics and the Experimental Data Science Research Group, as well as of the Developmental Neurocognition Lab and the Birkbeck Babylab.
Cosmin teaches Data Analytics and Machine Learning with Python at City, University of London.
