Boris Adryan is a biologist by training and a technologist by heart. From 2008 to 2016 he lead a computational biology research group at the University of Cambridge and was involved in teaching data science as part of an interdisciplinary degree course.
Following his interest in the IoT, in 2014 he founded thingslearn Ltd, a data analytics consultancy for the Internet of Things.
In 2016 Boris relocated to Germany, where he first acted as Head of IoT & Data Analytics for engineering company Zuhlke, before recently joining pharmaceutical company Merck in a newly formed unit that tackles exciting data science problems at the interface of science and technology.
